As someone who loves all things beauty and makeup, I have quite the collection. Ask my roommate, she'll vouch that I have entirely too much makeup for a single person to use during a lifetime. However, just because you or someone you know really loves makeup or wants to start wearing makeup, it's totally not necessary to buy the latest setting spray, bronzer, contour, and...well, you know the drill. Today I'm putting together a toolbox of something that I personally feel like everyone needs in their makeup collection, whether you're just starting out or just wanting to save some cash. February Faves

It's honestly so hard to believe that February is coming into a close and soon we'll be rolling into March. I felt like I just rang in the new year last week and it's astounding that it's actually been a couple of months. Having the time fly so quickly is really bittersweet for me but with a new month comes a few mentions of some of the things that I've been loving. February favorites, let's go.

Getting Literary

Books have always been something that I've loved and even at a young age, I completely devoured books. As I grew older, my tastes changed just as they do for music and fashion, but just like those, I have a collection of staples when it comes to literature. When friends ask for recommendations, you can pretty much guarantee that it'll be one of these books that are near and dear to my heart. Without further ado, my favorite books!

Must Have Insta Apps

Instagram is by far my favorite social media app and in recent years, I have become totally and utterly obsessed with planning out a feed and theme that I'm happy with. If you scroll through the abyss of my photos (after having deleted a few dozen - oops) I'm sure it's obvious when I've gone through my different phases on Instagram. Now that I have a digital toolbelt of apps that I absolutely love using, I've managed to really hone in on an Instagram feed that I enjoy. Today, I'm showing you those very apps!

Wavy Hair, Don't Care

After having a hair fiasco about three months ago (another post for another time) I've learned to accept having shorter hair. It doesn't take very long to style (on days that I do) and I use less product, so realistically it was a win-win situation, though I do still feel pretty naked without having my longer hair. After a few months, though, I have definitely figured out a hair care routine that allows me to (semi) love my shorter hair when I actually feel like styling it.
